Pumacy Technologies’ intern receives award for best diploma thesis 2008 at BTU Cottbus

Diploma thesis about Pumacy Technologies’ INNOPLEX approach and the analysis of substantial barriers in innovation processes recognized best diploma thesis 2008 at the Brandenburgische Technische Universität Cottbus (BTU).

Dipl.-Ing. Ronny Sygulla is being awarded best diploma thesis award 2008 of the faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Business Economics at Brandenburgische Technische Universität Cottbus (BTU).  Ronny Sygulla recently completed his thesis on ‘Barriers in Innovation Processes’ based on the INNOPLEX project of Pumacy Technologies AG under the supervision of Professor Dr. Magdalena Mißler-Behr, head of the department of Planning and Innovation Management.

“The thesis is based on a thorough understanding of innovation processes and offers a structured, analytical and sustainable view to innovation,” said Professor Dr.-Ing. Matthias Koziol, Vice President of the BTU.

“The BTU Cottbus award is a clear prove of the quality of the thesis and the innovative potential of our methodology to analyze disturbing factors and to create robust innovation processes,” adds Dr. Tobias Müller-Prothmann, Division Manager Innovation Management and INNOPLEX Project Manager.

INNOPLEX, an approach of Pumacy Technologies AG (http://www.innoplex.eu), is based on the assumption that an analysis of disruptive factors in innovation processes creates more value for companies as a success factor-based approach.  The investigation of so-called Innovation Management Devils, which is part of an innovation audit developed by Pumacy, enables companies to better manage turbulences within industrial processes.

The university has four faculties: Mathematics, Natural Sciences and Computer Science; Architecture, Civil Engineering and Urban Planning; Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Business Economics; Environmental Science and Technology. The department of Planning and Innovation Management provides students with methodical approaches regarding to the systematization of innovation and planning processes. Head of the department is Professor Dr. Magdalena Mißler-Behr (http://www.tu-cottbus.de/planung-innovation).
