Pumacy Technologies AG shortlisted for second round of the Oskar-Patzelt foundation award „Großer Preis des Mittelstandes“

After its third nomination for the Oskar-Patzelt foundation award "Großer Preis des Mittelstandes" Pumacy was shortlisted for the second round of the competition

Pumacy Technologies AG was again chosen for the second round of this year’s competition of the Oskar-Patzelt foundation for small and medium sized businesses (SMB). 3366 businesses and personalities had been nominated nationwide to take part in the 2009 competition. 1028 candidates were shortlisted for round second.

The selection of candidates was based on a questionnaire containing 57 questions about overall development, creation/safeguarding of jobs, modernisation and innovation, services, customer care and marketing.
12 local juries consisting of 100 members will decide on the remaining competitors. The announcement of the winners of the Oskar-Patzelt foundation award "Großer Preis des Mittelstandes" 2009 as well as the award show will take place on 5th September in Magdeburg, on 12th September in Wurzburg and on 26th September in Düsseldorf.

Oskar Patzelt Foundation

The trophy „Großer Preis des Mittelstandes“of the Oskar-Patzelt foundation was awarded for the fist time in 1995. The Oskar-Patzelt foundation is based in Leipzig with a nationwide network of 200 personalities within 13 juries, 30 local service centres, and other committees. The jury members must base their decisions on a complete company profile of the competitors including innovation power, training programs, economic growth and local commitment. The nominated businesses represent a significant proportion of economically successful and socially responsible small to medium sized businesses regardless of branch or form of business ownership.
